How we handle your consulting enquiry and call booking.

Last updated 26 October 2026

Who we are

Frankly Consulting Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 15575965. We are responsible for the personal information you send us about a consulting enquiry. Contact us at info@franklyconsultinglimited.co.uk.

Enquiries by email

The contact form is currently switched off. Please email us instead. We receive your email address and whatever you include in your email, such as your name, business details and message. We use these to answer your enquiry and discuss the service you asked about.

Your correspondence is kept in our email service, Google Workspace. Google may store it outside the UK, under its own safeguards for international transfers. Please do not include children's details or sensitive information.

Booking a free call

When you click a booking link, the calendar opens in a window on our site, provided by Cal.com. Nothing loads from Cal.com until you click. If the window cannot load, the link opens Cal.com's booking page instead. If you book a call, Cal.com receives your name, email address, business name, what you would like help with and your chosen time. We use these details to arrange the call and discuss your enquiry. The booking is also shared with Google Calendar and Google Meet to put the call in our calendar and provide the meeting link.

We keep your booking details under the same retention periods as other enquiries, set out under How long below.

Once the contact form is on

The form will send us your name, business name, email address, team size and any message you choose to send. We will use these to answer your enquiry and discuss the service you asked about. The form does not verify your email address. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

It will send these details to our Frankly Flow enquiry service, where they become a private Enquiry in our own Business, kept in a database run by Supabase in London (UK). The form will never show other enquiries or customer information.

To limit spam, the form uses a hidden field and submission limits. A short-lived submission identifier and a keyed, unreadable version of the email address support retries and those limits; old entries are removed on the next submission after 24 hours. When the security check is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the browser and processes security signals under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not store your IP address in the enquiry database or add your answers to application logs.

Proposals we prepare for you

If we prepare a proposal for you, we write it in a private editor that only Michael can open. Cloudflare stores these proposals in its European Union data centres. It holds what you told us for the proposal, such as your name, business name and the problems you want solved, plus the price. Backups of proposals are kept in Cloudflare and on Michael's own computer. We send you the finished proposal as a PDF.

Why we can use your details

We answer your enquiry because it is in our legitimate interests to reply to people who contact us. If you ask us for a proposal or a Business Review, we use your details to take the steps you asked for before a contract. Once you are a client, we keep business and accounting records because the law requires it. We never send you marketing emails unless you have agreed to them.

Hosting

This website is served by Cloudflare. Its fonts and images are served from this website too.

How long

If an enquiry doesn't lead to work, we delete it, its emails, any proposal and its backups, and any booking details in Cal.com and Google Calendar/Meet 12 months after we were last in touch. If you become a client, we keep emails, booking details, proposals and project records for 6 years after the work ends, as UK contract and tax rules expect, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@franklyconsultinglimited.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
